The hotel has a great location in downtown Johannesburg, close to Wits East and West Campuses, but I had a tough time with the noise from the street and the hotel bar that made it hard to sleep. While the rooms are functional and tidy, they definitely need an update as the furnishings are quite old. The service was a mixed bag—some staff were helpful, but others lacked professionalism.
